Absolute Climbing is an innovative and rapidly growing small business, manufacturing and repairing climbing holds in Boulder, Colorado. Founded by Alex Waterhouse in 2023, we make sustainable, high-quality thermoformed macros and offer a Retexturing service for old, polished holds. By giving old holds the possibility of a significantly extended lifespan and making new holds from recycled materials, we aim to substantially impact the amount of waste that the indoor climbing industry produces over the next decade. We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our growing production team.

Job Title:

  • Production Associate

Responsibilities/Job Summary:

We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, ensuring you have the skills needed to succeed, even if you have no prior experience in manufacturing.

  • Fabricate thermoformed climbing holds.

  • Prepare holds for Retexturing.

  • Pack holds for shipment.

  • Mold new shapes for production.

  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.

  • Maintain a clean and safe production environment, including cleaning and preventative maintenance.

  • Understand and continuously improve upon production processes

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with hand power tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience with thermoforming or painting is a plus.

Benefits:

  • $18.50-25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Paid time off and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be on your feet throughout the day.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Comfortable working in a noisy and fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts, may vary depending on production needs.

  • Up to 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday.

  • Overtime may be available.

  • In-person position in Boulder, Colorado.
